Ivory Beaded Lace - Christina
This ivory bridal lace measures 132 cm (52") wide. Our designer has used a soft tulle for the ground and then embroidered it with a rich ivory thread to form a floral themed wedding lace that is stunning and has a vintage appeal.
The borders are symmetrical and scalloped, measuring 19 cm (7.5") from the edge to the inward most point and are then embellished with tubular beads, sequins and pearls.
The body of the pattern is comprised of vertical lines and floral motifs, both of which use a subtle champagne colour filigree thread in addition to the ivory embroidery yarn.

I cannot stress enough how the photographs of this lace completely fail to capture its absolute beauty. Not only is is dainty, delicate, and desirable, it is also truly divine! To begin with, the lace is very light and has a delicate hand, so don't be fooled into thinking that the embellishment gives it heaviness. Also, there are so many ways to use it! I have begun with a Christening gown and will be using more of it to create a full length bridal gown with an Edwardian feel - the vintage look of this lace is perfect for that style. The lace is very easy to handle and sew up. It's possible to cut out little appliques, and the columns can be cut out to use as borders, or as insertion lace between completely different fabrics
