Vintage lace is here to stay: once regarded as simply as a passing trend in bridal couture, wedding gowns created using vintage lace fabric designs are now universally popular. In this edition of the Bridal Fabrics blog, we have selected four fabulous temptations from our extensive catalogue of wedding ivory lace fabric. Enjoy!
Rhona: Ivory Chantilly Lace
An absolutely divine ivory wedding material, Rhona is framed by slightly-asymmetric borders; to one side, a circular motif encloses a petite flower. Contrasting diamond-shaped motifs, each enclosing a rose of their own, compose the body of Rhona wedding lace.
Cordelia: Ivory Chantilly Lace
Cordelia is a classic Chantilly lace that is coloured a deep, rich shade of ivory. Characterised by big, bold and flamboyant floral motifs, each of which has been superbly corded, this unique wedding dress material has flawless definition.
Harriet: Cream Lace
Coloured a slightly yellower shade than traditional ivory wedding material, Harriet features an especially interesting design that has plenty of vintage appeal. Framed by plain edges, an array of romantic heart shaped motifs together form a beautiful diamond: a truly arresting visual experience.
Danielle: Ivory Corded Lace
Regal, elegant and undeniably attractive, Danielle features a pattern of floral motifs that are interlinked by necklaces of corded lace. Cording is also used to edge the flowers, adding shading effects that enhance the floral combinations. Fringed and scalloped borders, identical on either side, are also emblazoned with corded lace necklaces, uniting the design into a harmonious whole.
