Territory
An ivory crepe fabric from Italy that measures 135 cm (53") wide and which is an eco friendly blend of 29% Viscose and 71% Acetate, this weighs 185 gm2. It has a magnificent drape is ideally suited to a bridal gown for the environmentally aware bride. We also offer Habitat as a slightly heavier alternative.
These fabrics are eco-friendly because they are woven with sustainable yarns. The viscose comes as usual from cellulose but from "linters of cotton" - i.e. waste from the cotton spinning with a GRS certificate.
The acetate has a FSC declaration which shows it is produced in a way to protect woods and forests.
Disguise
A beautiful Mikado fabric that measures 145 cm (57") available in ivory and made using recycled polyester yarn made from recycled plastic bottles. Woven in Italy, this beautiful fabric is 45% Recycled Polyester 55% Virgin polyester. This satin has an incredibly smooth handle and we recommend ordering a sample to see the quality of this eco fabric option for yourself.
Liberty
Liberty is a magnificent medium weight satin fabric that measures 145 cm (55") wide and which weighs 312 grams per linear metre. This beautiful fabric is available in white, ivory, champagne, pink and silver.
The composition of 80% Tri-acetate and 20% Polyester gives it a truly wonderful handle and drape. Tri-acetate is actually made out of chemically treated wood fibres so is a relatively sustainable fibre. The wood pulp is a by product and from FSC accredited forests so a more sustainable bridal choice.
Wit
Wit is an eco polyester crepe that uses 70% recycled yarn. Measuring 140 cm (56") wide, this has a delightful soft drape and is an excellent product for the bride or designer that is environmentally aware.
Juliette
A elegant and dainty bridal lace that is made of interlocking motifs. A non-floral lace that is not embellished, it has a very soft and lightweight handle and is the perfect choice for the boho bride and the environmentally friendly bride. This eco lace measures 110 cm (43") wide and has straight edges on both sides. The Cotton is GOTS and Viscose is FSC so both can be classed as "Eco". Order a lace sample to feel the handle and quality of this lace - the first two samples are free.
Kashvi
A stylish geometrically designed ivory lace from France that is delicate and lightweight and very boho chic. Perfect for the environmentally conscious bohemian bride this non-floral lace sports an intricate geometric design. This lovely lace measures 120 cm (47.5") wide. Both sides of the lace are plain and the design is a repeating pattern of geometric shapes. The repeat is around 6.7 cm (2.7"). For the eco conscious bride the Cotton used is GOTS certified and Viscose is FSC so both can be classed as "Eco".
Tia
This is an extremely striking chantilly lace that has matching scalloped and fringed edges. Measuring 94 cm (37" wide), this is made using Organic Cotton. With a contemporary design, this is both a true French beauty and a lace for the environmentally aware bride.
